Lumbago causes a great deal of pain and discomfort to those who suffer from it. Fortunately, most people recover from their symptoms within a few days. But is there anything you can do about it in the meantime?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you have back pain, you probably don&#8217;t feel like moving around. But it is good&nbsp;<strong>to exercise<\/strong>&nbsp;when you have lumbago. If there is no real damage to your back, you should see this pain as a warning:&nbsp;<strong>Your body is demanding&nbsp;<\/strong>that you move differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is the pain so intense that you can only lie in your bed? In that case,&nbsp;<strong>do take the time to<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;rest,<\/strong>&nbsp;but limit this to a maximum of two days. Then slowly start moving around again. They are usually advised to get a great deal of rest. There&#8217;s never a guarantee, but you can do as much as possible to reduce the chances of recurring back problems. Try to adjust your schedule so there is enough time&nbsp;<strong>to walk and move<\/strong>&nbsp;every day.&nbsp;Exercising at the gym is also a good option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What if you exercise frequently but are still in a great deal of pain? In that case, it is advisable to visit a physiotherapist.
